(I have no idea if this has any forests in it and I'm making up a bunch of forest names I'm a moron lmao)

@Someone... hmmm. here is some. so when the game starts the player is in a airplane then a pirtal opens up and pulls the air plane in the player wakes up in a new world. later in the gamw they'll have to travel to the twisted to get better resources and kill bosses. once all the bosses are killed im not sure what would happen next. the game will have lots of lore. i want the game gameplay to last 5 months minimum.

its going to be a massive project. it will have lots of lore, voice acting, multiplayer, open world/ infinite world gen, and a minimum of 5 months gameplay

@foxzy the scope of the project is a tad bit too a little bit slightly a little bit by a slight amount huge for a first project, try making a smaller game or lessen the scope there is no way all of that is being finished

@foxzy sorry for assuming it was a first project btw. Although not even most AAA games take 7 full years to make a game (excluding times when a game was completely remade/scrapped/restarted/still being designed), like it's not really a first project exclusive thing (that's just what most devs say when talking about indie devs planning out projects that are too large). Bigger doesn't always equal better, and the amount of time it takes to finish the game might not be worth it or even possible.

@foxzy Also trying to fill the game up with content for added game time could dilute the game, especially if the plot slows down to accommodate the 4 month time. It's best to add things in only if they're important enough or fun enough for the game (dw important stuff includes fun stuff like jokes and other goofy stuff that affects the general mood and pacing of a story, example: deltarune/undertale lol).

i still really like The Twisted as a game name, the name feels like it'd be very iconic and memorable (it also directly relates to the game itself)
