do grades matter in a partner?

i kinda like this guy but hes lowkey a bum TvT like he doesnt rlly even try to do his work but like hes rlly cute and lowkey just bc you dont try in highschool means you cant be successfullll
i plan on like observing him more bc if he isnt lazy outside of classwork i wont rlly mind but if hes a genuinely lazy person who doesnt work hard for things that matter then ima prolly ghost him TvT
like i wouldn't mind being with someone whos 'dumb' if they like have a job and work and drive, all the 'smart' guys ive liked have been total j3rks TvT (AND broke af-)i plan on asking what he plans to do outside of highschool to determine if hes a bum or just deosnt care abt school, teachers seem to like him despite how he doesnt rlly do anything in class:p

@Noctis so far i agree hes so cute, today we had two classes in a row and we spent it just doing the work together, it was actually rlly cute and i enjoyed explaining the stuff to him and it was nice to be able to be with him and get our work done, idk if he felt the same but i rlly enjoy studying with him and i hope things stay like thiss (he also kept like leaning against my arm and messing with me which was rlly flustering TvT)
this may sound bad but i lowkey like having a dumby like i like helping him with his work its so cute^^ when i was with the other dude i actually struggled with finishing my work bc hed get done before me and wed talk abt other stuff and i wouldn't finish bc i cant talk and work at the same time:p
hes actually not dumb at all tho he just doesn't try TvT anyways hes gonna be teaching me spanish in the mornings so im rlly exciteddd
