@freedom-fries bro WHAT its one of the best seasons, the characters were way more likeable and unique personality wise and its easily the funniest season out of them all, and the theme and soundtracks are so iconic! Also it was more mature then some recent seasons and had genuinely emotional episodes, and was slightly edgier then modern pokemon seasons which i like alot, ash is so annoying now TvT and way too kind/happy all the time, he was more relatable in the first season, same with misty

indigo league is genuinely good and aged well and is watchable for all ages while modern pokemon feels corny and like 'soft' and even as a teen it feels like its for little kids now while indigo league felt idk a bit more mature, the characters had a level of sass that modern cartoons lack that was still appropriate for a kids show but still made it watchable for other audiences
as for the 4chan dub its become iconic and only adds to the show being genuinely funny in a way the newer seasons could never compete with
Indigo league also just had more entertaining plots in each episode and more meaningful lessons and i like how it embraced Japanese culture more
and pikachu was at its cutest in indigo league, i miss fat pikachu

did you even WATCH indigo league or did you see one video talking abt the 4chan dub choices and assume its a bad anime? im genuinely asking because its such a iconic piece of childrens media and im so disappointed to see it mentioned here
