Well, i don't necessarily have any theories that don't really fall into the headcanons type of things, BUT i do heavily believe in The Golden Duo theory and the fact that Mikeypoo is the one we're playing as in FNaF 4.
Theres's thing i like to believe that when we're in the minigames, we're actually in Dave/Evan's mind during the coma. Like we're just forced to be re-living the same events leading up to the party during those cutscenes. And that when we play as Michael, it's kinda William torturing Michael for the death of his brother and also just peepaw testing out the sound illusuon discs. Yes, I do know that the nightmares are caused by the weird gas or whatever, but I feel like it was first Evan who was experiencing the nightmares because of the gas-which caused him to be scared of the Animatronics +Torementors.
Idk, this was just me yapping and or stating the obvious-idk if these are common beliefs or not- But if yah wanna talk more abt it, i'd love to discuss youre own theories ifyw! There's more i could go in depth with, but idk if I should do it here or not lol
