fav female anime character and why but it cant be because shes hot

most anime fans have a few anime ladies they're especially fond of, but lets be real... them being total baddies is usually the main reason (which is totally ok!)
but lets take a opportunity to appreciate our anime girly pops for more then just their looks

kinda basic but i gotta say sailor moon, shes tea as hell but i actually like how shes not some tough super hero and a total crybaby learning to deal with her new responsibilities, she shows that its ok to have help from friends, its ok to not know what your doing, and even though she is pretty incompetent sometimes, she never gives up and will do anything for her friends
i know it sounds HELLA corny but i feel like sailor moon is definitely relateable even if her emotionalness is more exaggerated and i actually like that shes really emotional (i know girls being emotional is a stereotype but i think sailor moon plays it off in a genuinely meaningful way) and she was openly supporting gay people since the 90s which i think is pretty cool:P

@_Izzy_ For me it’s def Videl from Dragon Ball Z is easily one of my favorites, and not for basic surface level reasons. I just really like how natural and smooth her writing feels. She’s introduced as confident,stubborn,perceptive and persistent but as the story goes on you actually see her perspective shift in a way that makes sense and doesn’t feel forced, it feels earned.

And the way she works with Gohan is honestly one of the best dynamics in DBZ. Gohan is more calm and reserved, and she brings out a more confident side of him, while he grounds her and helps her see things differently. It goes both ways, which is what makes it so good. Neither of them overshadows the other and they genuinely build off each other.

But even on her own, she’s still solid. She’s independent, strong-minded, and actually contributes to the story without feeling like she’s just there for someone else. That balance is what really makes her stand out to me

I also love how she is allowed to be more intelligent and clever than gohan in many situations,I wish they didn’t Ruin it all in super by making her a basic wife TvT
