Probably getting glasses and I need opinions

Ok I need opinions frfr😭

on Monday I’m getting an eye test and there’s a decent chance I’m gonna have to get glasses because apparently my vision has been getting worse over the past like 2 years. I kept ignoring it but Izzy finally convinced me I can’t just keep avoiding it because it’ll keep getting worse if I don’t wear them.

My biggest problem tho is I’m lowkey scared I’m gonna look like a nerd or just ugly with them 💀 like I already know some frames can make people look completely different and I do NOT want to increase my choppedness.

Izzy actually gave me a recommendation for a style, but before I commit to anything I want more opinions.

i feel like round glasses would suit you better, the ones izzy suggested (no offense izzy) make you gain 20 years of age in my head. think izzy's glasses in the second photo, but as frames and with a lower arch so they're (reasonably) higher on your face

@saphirecrown1 What does “imagine they are frames” mean in a conversation about glasses frames, when it’s said under a picture of me wearing glasses as a reference,the glasses are used as a reference for their frame 😭

but now that i think of it whether you used the right one depends on what you were tryna say
atfirst it sounded like you meant imagine their (as in someone else's) frames
but theyre is like 'imagine they are frames'
but now that i think of it that doesnt make sense TvT
