Why can't I upvote...?

When I try to upvote things, the site gives me a popup stating, "You don't have enough privileges to do this"

This has only happened to some posts with me, like serious mod posts and when i upvote a reply right as the original post had been taken down

In other words it could be a bug but

I get the same error if i try to upvote something on my own post, normally (from what i know) you just wait till your post has around 10 posts sent (replies) then it lets you- because i can upvote my post's replies (other users) but just not at the start of the post

(error happend while typing this, hope it dosent send twice-)

its likely bc its on a edge of the forum post, which you cant upvote.
