ok i love bad bunny but glaze aside i watched a vid and im pretty sure he supports this company that supports genocide like his whole fit came from that company, and lady gaga has a history of glazing Israel. i will try to find the actual link to the vid so anyone interested can look into it, but my point is while this was a small victory for us, this whole show was intended to be just that, like a distraction. i dont wana be THAT person but we should never be too generous when praising a event or celebrity bc there is always injustice being ignored somewhere, atleast in my opinion, and it's important to use media literacy to understand the full context of something, it's never good to just mindlessly glaze something and be incapable of criticism (not that yall are mindlessly glazing)

So when I was watching the Super Bowl Live when I heard bad bunny was performing, it was some boring shi until the half time show popped in.

Both my homelands in Ponce and everyone in the stadium were absolutely losing their minds rn like rs rn I lowk jumped in joy and shed a tear cause deaduzz rn
Bad Bunny is representing my people, he representing the Island, he's representing an entire generation of Puerto Ricans and I'm lowk glad I am one
My homeland, and my people were partying and waving their flags in his name for breaking the barrier and actually show the world what talent is.
