But in all reality this topic being brought up definitely pinched a nerve for me because I have met people that ACTUALLY suffer from this and people that FAKE having this so it really makes me mad when they’re bundled together like they’re both the problem. The problem is that people or social media like TikTok normalize faking disorders in general. It seems like the most mentally degrading or unhealthy disorders are the ones that get the most popularized.

i really regret ignoring the existence of neuro-divergent people in the og post, it's especially dumb considering the fact that i'm neuro-divergent (adhd sucks but it also makes you better at video games)
