if dark romance is really just horrorxromance why does everybody hate the genure as a whole? wouldn't twilight be dark romance technically? i personally dont understand why people go dunking on enter generes instead of saying ''yeah, this book is gross'' or ''this books writing is simply terrible'' i personally prefer to say one thing is terrible instead of the enter genere, i might have hated future dairy but i dont hate every yandere character/story, happy sugar life used the yandere trope to talk about very real life issues and i'd say the manga was very well made and it is genuinely scary and it doesn't have plot armor mary sue shit future dairy had (i watched the anime with my dad, the manga could be different) but ik the anime for happy sugar life wasnt as good and the studio kinda failed the manga. i think yandere storys do count as dark romance imo but i honestly with everything could be wrong and i might be missing something important
