so the way the virus works starts with a spore spreading flower. when you breath the spores in, the begin to make their way into your bloodstream, then to your brain. once in your brain, they rapidly grow roots, and the flowers bloom, killing the host bc your brain doesn't like having roots in it. the flower will then literally pilot the corpse of the host to spread more spores, through biting bc its a zombie duh, or through fully blooming. fully blooming takes place at high altitudes, (I.e, rooftops) and the flower spores in the host all rapidly grow and burst out of the hosts body, turning them into a spore spreading flower.

I haven't fully developed this, I'll work on this more and prob make some drawings of it :stuck_out_tongue:

update, so the fully bloomed hosts, act as an like beacon point for other infected, where those in the vicinity of the fully bloomed are attracted to it, blooming on top of it making "graven masses" which are literally just a fully bloomed with insane amounts of mass and spores added to it depending on how many other infected are in the the mass. leading to more spores being spread and more infected being added to the mass. the largest of the graven masses are in Dubai, specifically on top of the burj khalifa, encompassing half of the tower. (in this story most places with high populations and large towers are all destroyed along with most of the world, and usually have larger graven masses, like the Eiffel tower and the pyramids of Egypt. )

another update: the graven masses can mobilize if necessary. the roots that have grown into the buildings they reside atop of allow them to take mobility in case of burning (the one true counter to the plague), so essentially its biollante but without the giant mouth. the "seeds" of the graven masses(they often take the shape of flowers with large amounts of seeds, such as Chinese hibiscus or sunflowers), are more infected that were not assimilated into the graven mass.
