A rant on exes

I've never understood why most people hate their exes, all of my exes I don't really have a negative opinion on. I don't like the people who claim that they hate their ex just for breaking up with them, like did you not send me a whole paragraph on how you loved them yesterday?? If I loved them at some point, it's hard to just suddenly hate them. Even if they did- like the worst shit imaginable to me. Okay, reading that back I'll admit that I do sound slightly delusional but that's just how i've always been. What's your take?

I mean, if they did some horrendous shit then I would hate them. For example: if they cheated on me, or they're just a general piece of shit. Otherwise, if we ended on good and mutual terms, I don't see the reason why some people hate the exes, but there's always a reason as to why people break up

when I was around 11, despite me and the girl never saying it explicitly, we were dating, she was 12 then, our parents were shocked and confused and kinda upset when they found out, my ex's sister told our parents we had kissed (*we had several times... *)
and we were broken up, we lost contact fully when I was about 13. they are my ex, but there's zero ill will in my heart tords them. we were too young then, but if we met again today, and she was single I would honestly want to try again with her if she was ok with us dating .

I think it depends. Some people are just horrible and there's a lot of terrible experiences in the dating pool for good reasons. I haven't really had any bad experiences with my exes- except for maybe one and he was just weird plain out.

my second ex I don't hate tbh just severely dislike. he'd go weeks without messaging me once (we were long distance btw) and we would argue and shit last year. he was just a JΕRK but nothing actually too bad. I'm still bitter about his ghosting, he didn't message me during Valentine's day let alone my birthday and ig I was immature for "not understanding" he was busy due to things like his job but I feel like one message once every 2 weeks is not dating =-= like period. and well, he's my ex. the no message on my birthday was my final straw and I broke up with him.
TL;DR I don't hate my second EX, just dislike him to an extreme degree

if they did bad thing like one of my exes cheated on me with 3 girls and if went back 2 time (yes ik that was stupid) and my recent ex had lead me on after we got back tg for the 4 time and thru the 5-6 time he lead me on and i was tired of going back to the same thing happening to me and 1-3 times he genuinely liked and loved me i was his first valentine, his longest rls, his first kiss and the 2 time we were tg it lasted 5 months but like at the 4 month mark he started leaving me on delivered for days almost a week and thats when i knew he was losing feelings but i couldn't except it(sorry if this is really long..) but im never dating sum1 younger than me again (i hate my recent ex bc he just played me in my face and lead me on but i will have a spot for him in my heart bc thru my 9 months with him i never lost feelings until now but i still have his hoodie and the capybara he gave me when he gave me my valentines basket)

@ext.savy my two exes were older than me (not by much, like a year for my ex gf or under two years for my ex bf since he was a year and like three months older) but were on the same level on things like maturity, my advice is to date someone close in age to you as well as maturity so you're in the same place mentally, like, a freshman VS a senior in high school are in two different places in life usually (though I have heard of people skipping grades and stuff so this might not be the best example)

my ex had 13 other girls he was w and js treated me like shit, i always had to text first too, i rlly tried to make it work but once i found out abt the 13 other girls i broke up w him on the spot
