update, i'm currently 5'10 and 196lbs (I was at the doctor today) so that should help give an idea of my body size and you can try to scale shirts to your size more easily

@vessel don't feel bad, when I was 5'7 (possibly a bit taller) I was 150lbs so in a simmaler place to you now, at that weight in particular I had a hard time finding skirts since my waist was small and I was still kinda chubby in hips but I usually wore a size medium still for that reason and they needed belts or alterations to fit around my waist

yeah, I intended this topic to help people figure out what size to buy for unisex, women's, and men's tops and stuff, i'd really rather not encourage that sort of thing. like seriously.

@vessel what does this even mean. Like, are you saying that everyone should just wear masc clothes? 'Guy' clothes are tailored to men and their structures, obviously, they wouldn't be flattering on most fem presenting women and their body types. Unless you mean 'just wear baggy clothes,' but even then; that's not every1's style

@w1ckedsticky1983 i've considered selling skirts designed to fit men and they'd be sized like men's pants since men generally have a more "boxy" shape then women and skirts don't fit them very well not to mention height.

I understand why men and women have their own clothing, I really do and I don't think men and women having their own separate clothes is necceraly bad, or like, inherently mysogonest, but I think women's clothes usually get the worst of things like vanity sizing or not having pokets because they assume we all use purses, ect. I don't think everyone buying dudes clothes is the solution either.

(I mostly wear men's clothes tbf because I like them more and since i'm basically the height of a grown αss man I find them to have a better fit)

I think the best we as a society can do is like, make it not tabbo to wear clothes intended for the oppeset gender, like if a dude want's a dress, let him be happy, and if a chick wants to wear a pair of dude's cargo shorts, let her be happy.

but that's my two cents lol
