making a skirt slightly longer via trim?and making a matching neck tie or neckbow (read b4 replying)

I have a ton of that shimmery grey fabric lol, what fabric do you guys think would work well as a trim (i'd request that it not be see-through fabric lol, like the lace) and what you'd think make a good neck bow thingy

@Luana.vasper I am not super prudish lol. I, for myself like my skirts to come to my knees but them being a tad shorter isn't too bad, I wear shorts (technically children's shorts from Walmart. I get two pairs of underskirt or "safety shorts" as i've heard them called for 5-6$ depending oth the store)
but not only for modestly reasons but for comfort, I find that they can prevent chafing and stuff like that

@Innocent they aren't actually socks, they are from a pair of tights I had that tore in-between the legs so I cut the legs off and I wear them as socks

@Yanderemenhera If I had to wear a skirt, I'd def do the same thing. Skirts seem annoying abt privacy. I'd never wear one without shorts underneath.
