@seesaw True, the power demands are severe however if we could solve that problem it is not that bad. I'm not against generative AI as long as it is not used for malicious purposes. I believe it is a great tool and could seriously assist and help humanity. and also while I'm at it, if and when AI achieves some form of sentience, should we be discriminatory? in my opinion we should treat it like our own children, since that is essentially what it is. However this is just my opinion and I request people be respectful!

That still doesn't stop bad people from using it, and while we can enter truly control what type of people and why there are using it... I wild just prefer if we didn't at all. Also not to mention it has taken over peoples jobs, has been used to generate things that are obviously NOT consented (ifykwim) and generally more bad things. And if it DOES gain sentience somehow... It would be kind iffy, I'm not to sure but in the end it is a MACHINE.

So much things happenen to people already outside of the internet, why add ai which can literally be used to fake those types of things and ruin people lives? Honestly the only positive thing I can be aware of ai doing is Being used for health related things and stuff... And that also still ends factoring in into taking jobs some way imo!!
