WHAT FANDOM GETS THE MOST HATE

even being a casual listener of MSI will get you hate IRL, you can listen to the music in ways that won't support MR piss, or even just like, enjoy the art from gorillas (that band) but the person who did the art for that band also did art for MSI for their frankenstine girls album so they are a horrible person for being involved. literally anything or anyone that has been involved with the band you might like will get you hate from emo chicks in middle GA.
another fandom I have seen get hate is the helluva boss/hazbin hotel like literally you could admit to watching one episode once and people will fυcking become ferrail and forget how to use their inside voices.
pepoyo is a vocaloid artist who has gotten canceled for such things as south park fan art and once for SFW art of a watermelon girl, I have deadass scrolled reddit for hours and maybe the images I saw were fake but what people hate her and by-proxy her fans for is just sad and given her disturbing artwork featuring themes of mental illness and other social ills I find it funny what upset people VS what everyone was fine with. from my experience pepoyo fans don't get a ton of hate bc the fandom is niche but the pepoyo fandom doesn't have the best rep bc fans of her have a stereotype of being under 14, hell, under 12 most of the time and them making "bad" art and being annoying mental illness larpers.
I think with most things nowadays, if someone is "problematic" (or genuinely a horrid human) the reputation they have will immediatly be funniled into how the fandom is seen even if a person doesn't know or care about the person who made the media, like you could be a famous artist online and you'll make a bad joke and now the fandom is seen the same way and sometimes the fandom's themselves have issues of being genuinely toxic or just really gross like MLP fandom. but i'll be honest with you, the majority of people who like or engage with a certain peice of media is likely a normal joe not doing horrible things to pony toys for kids or being really like, homophobic or something. I personally avoid fandom spaces atp tbh, discord could be an amazing way to find community but sometimes the fandom in those spaces aren't the best and I am not really active in any like, pepoyo spaces for example since everyone there is really young and just not really my cup of tea to be around (no hate tords them, but a 17 year old isn't gonna enjoy chatting with a 9 year old) and when it comes to the problematic or genuinely horrid people who made a piece of media, idk bro, I feel like it depends on a case by case bases on what they did and i think the word "supporting" is usually over-used but I get it if you'd rather buy buy a harry Potter book at a yard sale VS a barns and noble or if you just wanna give them away (or throw them away). idk, I think most fandom hate is usually over-blown and it can and will mess up stuff irl, so my advice is to not really be in fandom spaces or wear any sort of clothing associated with any media to avoid bullying/harassment and only tell people what you like if you can trust them.@Yanderemenhera is pepoyo the one with thw xxx cat cover? also yeah cancel culture is kind of butt

Respectfully can we just not have every singular popular content creator liking or associating with kids, as a person that hasn't played Roblox in over 9 - 10 years, the most popular game at the time was Destruction Derby (I fondly remember that game so much) and the the creator of said game was actually focusing on staying in his age range
