I mean, I can't really blame them. If you're bisexual, you're technically lesbian. There's no need to put the lesbian label when bisexuality already is basically saying you're a lesbian. Sorta irrelevant, but I can also see how it's used to present your gender identity while also saying you have a pref for women.
