@CH3SI I've delt with people like this in my life and unfortunetly they had to end the relationship before me and after our friendship breakup it made me realize how toxic they were to me
it is hard to let go of long relationships but when you let them go and go through that phase were out feel regret or sad because they ment a lot to you
you just relise how much of a improvement it will do to your quality of life
I believe that relationships come and go and just because you are ending things with them it does not mean that everything is bad
as much as I want to hate the person I had a falling out with(I just dislike him) I still have to aknolage that he was still a source of happiness and sadness
letting go is hard but its always the first step time will pass and you will mature for this expiriance
also being friends with somebody who does not respect boundaries in unhealthy imo you should end the relationship

@CH3SI If you've literally talked to Lego about it, I'd recommend giving an ultimatum- though it might be too late to give one. Worst case scenario, you dump Lego off and go about your life, they seem very nasty.

If I were in your place, I'd start by correcting him every time he calls you the wrong thing. See what his reaction is to your corrections and go from there. That will really ultimately give you your answer.
If he corrects himself, maybe it's still worth a shot. However, if he refuses to, he's not really worth your time. If he is going to be told many times that you don't want to be called that and still refuses to respect you, what's the point? There are other people who ARE willing to respect you and call you as you'd like to be called.
