in my opinion.. waffles are just crispier pancakes with holes, i like waffles because they hold the syrup and syrup is yummy.... and also... pancakes dont hold syrup well and only taste good with butter. when i eat pancakes i always think "at this point, i should just eat buttered toast"

I prefer waffles because they actually hold what you put on them vs. the toppings just rolling off ino a lake on your plate. Pancakes also have a tendency to sicken me when I eat them. I suppose I just have sensitive stomach. So waffles > pancakes
