Then he decided to text on his phone and suddenly said "can't even [censored] hear myself think" while he already had the TV remote in his hand and was turning it down. I told him that I couldn't hear it over him and that's why it was turned up. He got really offended by that.

get out of there asap after 18, this isn't really helpful advice on its own since it's really really hard to do because of money (kind of from experience) and you're obviously already trying to do that, but take any opportunity that could lead to you getting away from this psycho and try to create those opportunites if they're not there
