im on another site which allows downvotes and people over there seem to manage pretty well (as in you rarely see spam downvotes etc)I rarely see anybody spam downvotes there except for my joyous riot cat

We do have an apps in the works! Actually push notifications is the difficult part, but we should be able to get there eventually. It's important to make the site easier to use for mobile users.
On the users that have left though, I generally agree with Raven's take that it's natural / their decision to make. People will come and go over time. Obviously, we don't want to make this feel like an isolating place either.

Then yall downvote people you don't like... its happened before and made people leave because they feel unwelcomed.. which is why it will not be a Added back until we see a more mature audience at least
