i wonder if browse dns becoming a actual app would make it more popular, i bet artist would love an extra social media platform that wont use their art to train ai, plus the site reminds me of reddit but not toxic

@Raven ok, i remember i used f droid to download a music downloader on a really old phone that google wasnt supported on. i believe all of the files were akp downloaded so it'd only work on android anyway

We do have an apps in the works! Actually push notifications is the difficult part, but we should be able to get there eventually. It's important to make the site easier to use for mobile users.

On the users that have left though, I generally agree with Raven's take that it's natural / their decision to make. People will come and go over time. Obviously, we don't want to make this feel like an isolating place either.

im on another site which allows downvotes and people over there seem to manage pretty well (as in you rarely see spam downvotes etc)
