my 17 year old cousin gave birth a few weeks ago and her bf is lowkey giving the same red flags my bio dad was giving when him and my mom got together (he would later grow to abuse and cheat on my mom.)
hes lied to her about his location, saying he couldn't stay at the hospital with his newborn baby bc he was working when he was literally at home, and when she asked him if he could come back this dude rlly replyed with 'is it important?' like bro wtf could possible be more important then your newborn daughter??????????
and hes always at his 'sisters house' which idk seems a lil weird
oh and he hasnt helped financially at all and my mom has had to help my cousin a bit lately when he should be the one atleast sending her money if hes gonna be 'working' all the time (he lives in another state so he deff should be helping financially if hes not even gonna be there physically to help her)
and when he did visit the baby he complained abt it crying and didnt help my cousin take care of it
the audacity to complain is insane, first off he got her pregnant, you did this to yourself, second off hes not even the one who has to be with the baby every night and day and HES complaining??? third its literally a baby, wtf did you think it would do? talk? sing???
and he told my cousin not to pay her rent and that hed pay it....and he just hasnt given her any money for it and now shes behind (luckily she can pay it herself but he still totally failed her)
this isnt even everything yall TvT

anyway, if my bf got me pregnant, and i just gave birth to his child after going through the struggle of carrying it for 9 months, and i asked him if he could stay with me at the hospital and he asked me 'is it important?' im actually slapping tf outta him no question

then after all that talk abt how annoying hes been she started talking abt going to prom with him like :pray:

i just hope he gets his shit together bc my cousin is actually very hardworking and even though she made a mistake she deserves better. (i think shes actually coming over tomorrow with her cute lil baby <3)
