Another method that works really, really well is spraying perfume on the hinges. I used to do that all the time back in my old house. Just make sure to consistently spray it on every couple days

Have you ever put into account that they would touch the switch to see if it is warm??????

Not only that, they could install the parental controls, and from there on your screwed, I've tried factory resetting my switch and the parental controls is still on.

my mama and my stepdad first had took my door off the hindges , theres cameras outside and,alarm on the door i found out,a way to not make the alarm go off but ive been to scared to go out. yesterday my mom took both of my phone went thru it and find out abt it. mind yall im 16,about to graduate. she threatened to put cameras in the whole house and use MY PAYCHECK for this. she started cm outta EVERY name, got called a [censored] and more and she said things like "since all u wanna do is [censored] ima let u go out every saturday so u can get [censored]" idk what to do man. i just wanna get outta here.

@Rorschach It's hot in the house, so it's always warm. If need be, I remove the joycons when I'm using it and I don't touch the top, which are the two exposed parts when sitting in the dock, and they stay cold.

I also erase my fingerprints with my sleeves.

Thankfully my prts are worried abt spyware from China (my mom is rlly into that and does all the special stuff to keep spyware away), so no cameras. She doesn't trust them.
