just a little pet peeve but can you add more supported file types for the uploading system? i know its not even close to the most important issues but i feel like it would be nice to add

@NightmareWolfie well, unfortunately i think the shitposting ban and the issue of a banned user is the issue. if we can't find a good compromise we will lose over half our userbase tbh. i think a thing to keep in mind is, the Internet and Internet culture as a whole is based around satire, memes, and the aforementioned ''shitpost'' and by banning that it wil upset people greatly. i really don't have much other to say than we should find a way to reckonsile this before we lose literally everyone and try to improve the PR sorounding the administration and moderators too.

@VGMoose probably webp and avif, or you cant do either one replace one with jpeg (that is if you do said suggestion)

@VGMoose Speaking of file types, could I add a suggestion about the file size limit? A majority of times whenever I upload a simple image, it says it's too big. I wanna plan on posting art on here, but due to the limitations, I have to make the quality low or even crop out the images in general. It would be immensely appreciated if you took this into consideration. Completely understandable if there are complications with the request. ^^

Added webp/avif, and doubled uploaded file size restrictions. There is going to be a tradeoff here though-- we don't want it get too high for any user to upload large files. Maybe large file uploads can be put behind rep requirements / a group in the future.

Could you make a specific thing where ban appeals could be sent? I know there's the category but you can't really post while you're banned. Email's also an option, but it becomes a problem for switch users who can't use most email providers. Maybe like a form or something

@Yanderemenhera it should, but it doesn't the majority of the time whenever I try to do it the file size is doubled now, so I should be good tho ^^
