are you familiar with F droid? just an idea but it might be cheeper than hosting it on google

[Raven]

That would be a @pwsincd and @vgmoose thing.. that's not my cup of tea

[Yanderemenhera]

@Raven ok, i remember i used f droid to download a music downloader on a really old phone that google wasnt supported on. i believe all of the files were akp downloaded so it'd only work on android anyway

@Yanderemenhera I brought this up and I'M staff

[VGMoose]

We do have an apps in the works! Actually push notifications is the difficult part, but we should be able to get there eventually. It's important to make the site easier to use for mobile users.

On the users that have left though, I generally agree with Raven's take that it's natural / their decision to make. People will come and go over time. Obviously, we don't want to make this feel like an isolating place either.

[ladiesman217]

@Raven sigh

[pwsincd]

what was gleened from this thread ?

[ladiesman217]

@pwsincd i sadly couldnt tell you what we gleened

[Yanderemenhera]

@VGMoose ok, where is it gonna be available at? an akp file might be less expensive than google

[BBQboi-_-]

@VGMoose it’s great to see effort put into this site ,ts so disappointing to see its users slowly dwindle

@ladiesman217 i feel like downvotes might mean less actual engagement, bc instead of replying ppl can just push a button, which makes things boring for everyone and will probably only lead to less engagement. just my opinion tho:P
