And it seems like the Olympics have finally closed last Monday with Norway getting first place with 41 trophies while the United States got 2nd place with 33 Trophies and The Netherlands got 3rd Place with only 20 Trophies, Congrats NorwayTrouble in the Middle East
There seems to be trouble in the Middle East once again, Specifically in Iran, On February 28th, the United States and Israel missile strike Iran, Not only that but also assassinating the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, Who has ruled over Iran since 1989, Another 6 Iranian officials have also been killed in these strikes, As of making this article, No other leader has yet to be decided to take his place, And an Interim Government has been established to figure out his replacementMore conflicts...
And other conflicts appear on the scene, Specifically between Afghanistan and Pakistan, On February 21st, It was reported that the Pakistani Air Force were conducting air strikes over various Afghan Provinces, With the aim of getting rid of military camps belonging to the Pakistani Taliban and the Islamic State, This was in response for recent terrorist attacks in its capital Islamabad and other cities, In response to these strikes, Afghan officials stated that these strikes targeted civilian and religious grounds and resulted in 18 casualties in the Nangarhar province alone, And in another response, Pakistan denies targeting civilians in Afghanistan, Afghanistan condemned the airstrikes and vowed a calculated response in the aggression and since than retaliatory attacks and border clashes have followedWow thats a lot of news, Seems like the world is on fire again these days, But thats all from me and stay tuned for next week's newsletter...This is Yougot1960ed, Peace out
