I've actually seen women try to defend this behavior by claiming it's only natural for them to do it towards men because women have been sexualized for centuries. It stems from women's bodies being openly put on display for men to sexualize them unconsensually, but honestly, this is just really shitty justification. I suppose these beliefs derive from the 'reasoning' provided above, and the fact that it supposably empowers women due to getting their 'lick back at men,' but nothing should justify actions like these. No human being should be fetishized, objectified, nor even have their body blatantly sexualized without consent, especially for something they can't even control (Shocking!! I know!!/sar).

It's immensely strange to see that people are even attempting to justify this behavior. I mean, if you're someone who has experienced SA or has been sexualized, why would you ever wish that on someone innocent? Someone who you don't even know-? It doesn't even take a shitton of empathy or nuance to understand that this sort of behavior is wrong

The so called "feminist's" that deduce this predatory behavior to just being silly and claim that these behaviors are apparently inspiring, don't even deserve to call themselves feminists. The main point of feminism is to fight for the equality between the two sexes; male and female. It's strange to see that many people stereotype all men to be so-called perverts and automatically begin to start objectifying them, hence the infamous catching-print trend occurring. Hypocritical, isn't it? Not all men are creeps, nor or all women Innocent. Behavior's like this divide humanity and continue the cycle of abuse.

It's genuinely disgusting to see how whenever a man gets sexually assaulted, they're considered "lucky" and that they apparently should feel "grateful" for a women even laying a finger on them. I'm not a man, so I can't touch upon this subject as much as you can, but I've been sexually assaulted as a women myself. I've also have had friends that have told me about their experiences in the past, on how they were SAed by a women, but weren't taken seriously for these exact reasons. It's so normalized in this day and age for some godsick reason. It's truly sad to see that these conversations are even necessary in today's society, or considered 'hot-takes.' This is quite literally why men aren't ever taken earnestly.

Obviously, the only initiative that could be taken to at least prevent SA is to teach children boundaries. However, but since most children have access to social media at such a young age, they are going to see these videos and start to begin believing actions like these are okay. Which, is another discussion, but I don't feel like delving upon at the moment. It'd mostly just be a side tangent, but it does definitely contribute to this issue at a large-scale factor.

I'm not quite sure what else I can add without basically just restating any claims you have already made, but TDLR: catching print = bad

@Johnny.SS sadly it is something that could happen, but it's strange to see that people don't realize their actions actually have real affects on others although, I guess it really could just be dwindled down to "people are shitty."

Of course victims of SA can become offenders themselves in the later future, not all of them follow this path. Honestly, the most common case of what happens is the person becomes hypersexual, which doesn't necessarily automatically mean that they become a sex-offender in the future, but I digress.

Of course there's multiple factors on why someone becomes the perpetrator such as extensive grooming, or someone being mentally ill. However, just because something has reasoning; doesn't justify the actions taken.

@Sup3rSwaggyy1983 as a girl who's had things done to her by both genders, I can say women are usually excused from these acts. and i've seen fucking nasty things done to men irl and since they were dudes adults didn't gaf about it. but the second something minor happened to me they took me seriously. istg I feel ''privlaged'' looking back on it. it fucked me up more just having to watch that shit more than when it happened to me. I don't hate men or women, I just personally feel like gender doesn't even matter in this, man, women, non-binary? idgaf. every monster is a monster, ever victem is a victim. end of godamn story. men deserve just as much respect as I do and I hate it when people just don't care about men or men don't care about themselves.

@Johnny.SS I honestly should have mentioned the sex-avoidant sides in my previous statement, not every trauma leads them to becoming hypersexual. Often times it's the complete opposite, becoming sex-avoidant.

There's an amazing movie, not sure if you've seen it, but it's titled Mysterious Skin. The film and book both show the aftermath of two boys being molested as children. I won't go too in depth, but it's a great portrayal of two sides of the coin on what happens due to their experiences. Major trigger warning though, some scenes are hard to watch.

@Johnny.SS you should, it's legit in my top 3 films 🥹 it's beautifully shot movie, yet it doesn't romanticize any of it, nor does it make it completely overly edgy, which is a gripe I have about most recent films dedicated to shedding light on trauma's like these.

@Johnny.SS the anime adaptaion isn't terrible, but it cuts important context, the people who made it didn't do a great job with art either so it comes off as a gross yandere anime to some people due to a lot of the art being toned down to the point some viewers forget its a psychological horror. but most people i've seen online regard it as a great show dealing with tabo subjects, very real horror, and abuse cycles. in my opinion, if you watch the anime, and hate it i'd say just read the manga instead. happy sugar life is damn near impossible to find in stores, but you can buy it online. it's 16+ btw
its story with its art will make you uncomfortable. it doesn't rely on gore to envoke fear, it uses its theams and imagery to do so.
